Washington University in St. Louis Net Price Calculator

It's never too early to begin planning for college. One important aspect to consider is the cost - and our Net Price Calculator is a guide to help you estimate your family's net price.

Both merit-based scholarships and need-based scholarships are available at Washington University. Our merit-based scholarships require a separate application, and decisions are made by faculty committees. This Net Price Calculator helps to estimate your eligibility for only our need-based financial assistance programs.

This calculator will take approximately 7 minutes to complete.

Before beginning, you may find it helpful to have the following items available:

  • Student and Parent 2019 Federal Income Tax Returns
  • 2019 Earnings Statements

Results are based on our 2020-21 Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements*.

*Future costs and financial aid estimates are subject to change. Results of the calculator are not guaranteed. Your family's financial circumstances are reviewed by your Student Financial Services counselor. The accuracy of your estimated award is based on the information you provide. This tool is intended for use by first-time, full-time undergraduate domestic students. The estimated financial assistance award is based on the assumption that the student will complete the financial assistance application by the published deadline.
